In Basque ordinal interrogatives are most common and they are built on the
quantity interrogative ZENBAT (how many, how much). So: 

ZENBA(T)-GARREN sagarra jan du-zu?
how many-ord.    apple  eat have-you
 

Is a completely normal way to ask how many apples you have had. I am
pretty sure I cannot do the same in Spanish... Funny! Thanks for making me
realize.
