Manner adverbs

Does anyone knows about vectors or explicators functioning as adverbs of
manner in any languages other than Indian? Most often the V2 in a compound
verb situation [not in a converb situation] in a verb final language is
grammaticalized for aspectual functions. In addition to this function [and
sometimes exclusively] Indian languages use explicators as modifiers of
verbs, e.g. in Hindi

1.vo kah baiTha
  he say SIT-pst 3msg
  'he said it abruptly'

2. shila ne board ponch Daalaa
   Shila-erg board wipe PUT-pst 3default sg
   'shila wiped the board intensively'

The examples cited above can be rendered without the V2 but would then loose
the adverbial meaning.
