Dan:

not really for demonstratives, but for definite articles (perhaps they
really are demonstratives, or were) co-expressing tense (past vs non-past),
there's Chamicuro (Maipuran Arawakan). See

Parker, Steve (1999). On the behavior of definite articles in Chamicuro.
Language 75: 552-562.

And there's a growing literature on "tense agreement" on all sorts of
non-verbal words, especially in Austronesia and Australia, covered in #45
of Das grammatische Raritaetenkabinett, at
http://ling.uni-konstanz.de:591/universals/introrara.html

Is there tense marking elsewhere in Wari' that demonstratives "agree" with?
