Dan Everett is out of town and has me to post this message in his name.

I discuss my own view of the relationship between pronouns, affixes,
and clitics in "Why there are no clitics" , where I argue that these
are in general allomorphs. In languages that have more than one
simultaneously pronouns are grammatical features in argument
positions, clitics are grammatical features adjoined to an XP or X,
and affixes are complements of roots.
