'persons' & 'things'

Dear all,

I am looking for descriptions of analytic nominalizers - usually grammaticalized from nouns 'person', 'thing', 'event' and 'place' (like Japanese koto, mono etc.), especially if they are being grammaticalized further to smth. other than complementizers, say, modal words or affirmative/evidential/etc. particles (like in Mongolic l-s).

I would be grateful for references from other languages with such phenomena.

Many thanks in advance,

Best regards,

Elena Skribnik
