Reminder: ALT 8 early registration deadline imminent

REMINDER:  Early registration deadline for ALT-8 imminent


The deadline for early registration for ALT-8 is May 15.  Registration
will still be possible at any time after that, but the cost goes up after
May 15.

NOTE:  If you elect the "Pay on site" option, you will not be able to use
a credit card.  We are only able to take cash and checks (in U.S. dollars,
drawn on a U.S. bank or affiliate, and made out to "UC Regents").

Housing deadlines:  July 1 for dorms (though they are likely to fill up
before that);  June 22 for hotels (though they too are likely to fill up).

ALT-8 dates:  July 23-26.  Information on housing and the preliminary
program are available on the conference website:
