Anna Siewierska Memorial Workshop

To commemorate the eminent typologist Anna Siewierska (1955-2011), the 
Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology is organizing a 
one-day workshop on language typology:

The invited speakers are colleagues and friends of Anna's, who will talk about their typological research, stressing connections to Anna's interests and contributions where possible.

At the end of the day, there will be a one-hour remembrance session.

Anyone is welcome to attend. There is no registration fee. If you want to come for this workshop, please inform the workshop manager Claudia Schmidt (cschmidt at eva.mpg.de).

Note that the workshop is immediately adjacent to another workshop in Leipzig on April 28, on "Growth and decline of morphological complexity", organized by the Surrey Morphology Group (http://www2.surrey.ac.uk/english/smg/researchprojects/morphologicalcomplexity/workshop_2012/).
