Dear colleagues,

professor Alexander Kibrik (Александр Евгеньевич Кибрик), an eminent typologist and a great teacher and person, head of the Chair of theoretical and applied linguistics of the Moscow State University, passed away yesterday, 31 October 2012, after a long illness.
