The Department of Linguistics at Stockholm University invites
applications for a four-year studentship within its Ph.D. programme in
Linguistics with a specialisation in Computational Linguistics, with
planned start date January 1, 2014.

The deadline for applications is October 15, 2013.

The area of the dissertation includes but is not limited to the
research areas of the Section for Computational Linguistics, for
example, automatic identification of linguistic constructions with
possible connections to typology and massively parallel corpora. For

The required background is at least 60 ECTS credits on second-cycle
(Master's) level, of which 30 ECTS credits should be within
Computational Linguistics, including a degree project. Examples of
this are a Master's degree in Computer Science with a degree project
in Computational Linguistics, or a one-year Master's degree (Swedish
"magister") or two-year Master's degree in Computational
Linguistics/Language Technology.
