First Call for Abstracts
WORKSHOP ON THE LANGUAGES OF PAPUA 4
23-26 January 2017
Manokwari, West Papua, Indonesia

Papers are invited dealing with the "Papuan" (ie. non-Austronesian)
languages spoken in eastern Indonesia, the greater New Guinea region,
and the Solomon Islands. Equally welcome are papers concerned with the
Austronesian languages spoken in the same areas, including the contact
varieties of Malay, as well as Tok Pisin and Solomon Islands Pidgin.
Papers may be in any of the subfields of linguistics, and may represent
variegated approaches and diverse theoretical persuasions. Papers are to
be delivered in English.

Persons wishing to present a paper at the workshop are invited to submit
a one-page abstract in electronic form (preferably pdf, but MsWord also
acceptable) to David Gil at the following address:
