Apologies for multiple postings

Friends,

We (Zygmunt Frajzyngier, Roger Prafé, Paul Eguchi, and Megan S. Schwabauer, with Erin Shay and Henry Tourneux) have made the Hdi-French-English dictionary available to interested parties via the web-based lexicon tool LEXUS, developed by The Language Archive of the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics (https://tla.mpi.nl/). The dictionary contains transcriptions, translations, examples, sound recordings of lexical entries and examples, and photographs of a number of natural and cultural items.

To access the lexicon, go to:

http://corpus1.mpi.nl/lex/lexus/index.html

and log in with the following credentials:

Username: Hdi_Dictionary
Password: Turu

A hard copy of the dictionary (without photographs), along with a grammatical sketch, has been published by R. Koeppe Publisher (Cologne):

Frajzyngier, Zygmunt, Roger Prafé, Paul Eguchi, and Megan Schwabauer, with Erin Shay and Henry Tourneux. 2015. Dictionary of Hdi: A Central Chadic Language of Cameroon. Cologne: Koeppe.
