[Lingtyp] TyLex — 2017: the International Summer School on Typology and Lexicon

Dear colleagues,

    We are pleased to announce the International Summer School on Typology and
    Lexicon, which will be held on September 2-7, 2017 in Moscow, Voronovo
    campus of Higher School of Economics.

    This summer school will explore different aspects of lexical typology,
    including lexicon-grammar interface, ways of describing lexicon
    cross-linguistically, experimental approaches to the typology of lexicon,
    multilingual lexicography, sign language typology, diachronic analysis of
    semantic shifts. The students will be able to take away a basic
    understanding of different aspects of world lexical systems, as well as
    different approaches to cross-linguistic analysis of lexicon.

    Participants should announce their intention to take part in the Summer

     Linguistics students at MA or PhD level are invited to present their
    ongoing research at the Young Linguists’ International Conference that will
    take place within TyLex — 2017. The call for abstracts is not restricted to
    any area of linguistic typology. The abstracts should start with the title,
    and clearly state research questions, approach, method, data and (expected)
    results. Please follow the  guidelines to submission at the School's site.
