Dear all,
Does anyone know who was the first to use the term "antigenitive" to refer
to what Afroasiaticists traditionally call the "construct state"?
I mean cases in which the possessee/head noun is explicitly marked, e.g.,
Hebrew *bet ha-more* [house:ANTIGEN DEF-teacher] 'the teacher's house' (as
opposed to the independent form *bayit *'house').
Thanks!
Eitan
