[Lingtyp] LT, old and new

Thank you, dear Frans, for programming the concerts, conducting the
performances, for keeping us playing together -- and, whenever possible,
playing in tune.  This is an inspiring final concert under your direction,
and the musicians will play on.  I know you'll be listening (and, I hope,
writing critical reviews from time to time).  My years on the Editorial
Board were enriching for me--a sort of interloper who was accepted into the
endeavor.  Our regular high-quality journal issues keep me learning and
thinking.
