Dear Typologists,
on behalf of my colleague Prof. Roessler from the University of Regensburg, I
would like to send out a CfP for an international conference on punctuation.
Usually, orthography is not a topic among typologists, but orthographic rules
in a comparative perspective could be an interesting topic for us, too.

Dear Colleagues,
from 3rd to 4th May 2019, an international meeting on punctuation on the topic
“Punctuation Seen Internationally. System – Norm – Practice” will take place in
The meeting focuses on the system, norm, and practice of punctuation, and aims
at discussing punctuation in connection with these three aspects contrastively
or comparatively, codicologically, and with regard to education in
international comparison.
As you have conducted research on the field of comparative linguistics, this
meeting might be of interest to you.All necessary information on the conference

send a concrete topic (title plus abstract of max. 2500 characters) until 30th
