[Lingtyp] First contacts

Dear colleagues,

we are looking into the literature on first contacts. While we managed to
get access to some first contact events from missionaries, early explorers
and wartime contact, we are especially interested in first contacts where
the common code was limited (e.g. a pidgin) or, more importantly, directly
absent (as in many of the accounts of the *conquistadores* in the
Americas). I would appreciate if you could either comment or forward any
information you might have to damian.blasi at uzh.ch and/or
manuel.ruedisuehli2 at uzh.ch
