[Lingtyp] Administrative matter: Registration for ALT2019

Dear all,

Sorry to bother the list with this administrative matter.  Last month I 
tried several times to register for ALT2019, first by myself and then 
via personal contact with the organizers — but apparently to no 
success.  I just received the following email message from the 
organizers (or perhaps from easychair):

Dear presenter,
we hereby remind you that registrations to the upcoming ALT conference closed yesterday, Sunday 30 June 2019.
We therefore invite you to register to the conference by Thursday, 4 July 2019, at the latest.
If we do not receive your registration by that day, your paper will be cancelled from the ALT conference program.

Could somebody kindly register me on my behalf, and I will of course 
reimburse you accordingly.  (I have already made my bookings for Pavia 
and do not want to miss out.)

I do not have a good feel for how much of my problems are due to my own 
incompetence and how much are a reflection of problems with easaychair; 
I suspect it's a bit of both.  If it's not just me then perhaps this is 
an issue worthy of general discussion.
