[Lingtyp] syntactic construction formula

I don’t think it implies anything per se, since it’s just a notation that can express anything you want it to.
But in many computer languages - for example R - {} means “within this scope” and | means “or”, so {A|B} would mean “A or B”. It doesn’t imply that AB constitutes anything. So it would be a good option to express “YC or CY” in your grammar.
