Share your materials on Mixtec languages

Hi everyone,

I'm a linguistics PhD student at University of California, Santa Barbara & Max-Planck-Institute for the Science of Human History (Jena). For my PhD project I'm investigating aspects of Mixtec language history, such as subgrouping, tone changes, verbal paradigms etc. with traditional historical linguistics and quantitative methods. I have access to most of the published materials on Mixtec languages, but I'm looking to complement these with more data to improve my analysis.

I'm interested in materials such as word lists, grammar sketches, transcribed texts, paradigms, etc. on any variety of Mixtec. I'm also in the process of digitizing at least part of the materials to make them available online later on for a wider audience.
Of course, any data shared with me will only be used with proper attribution and I will not publish or release anything without consulting with the person who shared the data beforehand. Any scan, file format, or link to a repository is fine!

Comparta sus materiales sobre idiomas Mixtecos

Hola todxs,

Soy estudiante de doctorado en lingüística en la Universidad de California, Santa Barbara & Max-Planck-Institute for the Science of Human History (Jena). Para mi proyecto de doctorado investigaré aspectos de lingüística histórica de los idiomas Mixtecos, como las subagrupaciones dentro de la rama Mixtecana, los cambios tonales, los paradigmas verbales, etc. Tengo acceso a los materiales publicados sobre idiomas Mixtecos pero quiero complementarlos con más datos para mejorar mi análisis.

Estoy interesada en materiales sobre cualquier variante del Mixteco como listas de palabras, esbozos gramaticales, textos transcritos, paradigmas, etc. Además, estoy en proceso de digitalizar al menos parte de los materiales para ponerlos a disposición de un público más amplio en el futuro. Por supuesto, todos los datos que compartan conmigo se usarán con la debida atribución/autoría y no serán publicados sin consultar primero con la persona que los haya compartido. Tomo todo tipo de archivos o enlaces a repositorios!
