Dear readers, authors, and reviewers,
We are glad to inform you that Asian Languages and Linguistics editorial office has launched a new online system “Editorial Manager” developed by Aries Systems for submission & peer-review process. You can visit https://www.editorialmanager.com/alal/default.aspx for more details. This site is open for submission now. If you need help during your submission and revision, please refer to the Tutorial supplied on the website.
This system will significantly shorten the processing time and provide some important benefits to users, including but not limited to:
• Reliable system performance
• Easy submission and review allowing for the capture of manuscript metadata, forms, and files
• Your home page to track the progress of the manuscript
• Easy role switching without re-login
• Integration with standards such as ORCID, Ringgold, FundRef, JATS and CRediT
In the meantime, ALaL will continue to accept old-way submissions via E-mail (please send your submissions to jall at bnuz.edu.cn) during a grace period so that users adapt to this new system. The grace period will be scheduled to end on 1st May 2020. Please address your concerns to us, and we look forward to hearing from you. We hope you enjoy the new system!
Best wishes,
Xiaoyu Lu
