Alzahra University
Tehran, Iran
Department of Linguistics of Alzahra University will be hosting the 2nd
International Conference on Laboratory Phonetics and Phonology (The ICLPP
2021) on October 20-21, 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, the
event will be held online.
Objectives of ICLPP 2021
One of the main objectives of this event is to provide an excellent
international forum for sharing knowledge, new advances, and research
results in theory, methodology, and applications of Laboratory Phonetics
and Phonology.

• Acoustic phonetics
• Speech prosody
• Emotion analysis
• Analysis of speech signals
• Speech / voice recognition
• Spoken communication
• Phonetics and phonology of language varieties
• Psychoacoustics
• Speech perception
• Clinical phonetics and speech disorders
• Forensic phonetics:
- Voice disguise
- Forensic speech comparison
- Speaker recognition and language identification

Abstract Submission Deadline: April 20, 2021 (Abstracts may not be longer
than 500 words)
Notification Due: May 5, 2021
Full-text paper Due: July 22, 2021
Conference Dates: October 20-21, 2021
Please bear in mind that the language of the conference is English,
therefore, only English abstracts and/or full-text papers will undergo the
review process.
