Hello all

Thank you for your interest in these issues. You should have received an email from Jeff regarding the OA situation and I am now writing about the membership dues.

All of the information that you need is on the ALT website under Membership. if you are planning to attend the ALT meeting in December, you can register now on the meeting website and pay your dues at the same time as you register for the conference.

Things are slightly more complex at the moment if you are not attending the conference. At the moment, this must be done by bank transfer. As the website says, this situation will be remedied later this year when direct payments to the ALT through its website are introduced.

We value your feedback. We are hoping that by having some additional income for ALT, we will be able to take on some new initiatives.

Keren

But apparently Annual Review of Linguistics has not received enough subscriptions to become open access: I went to the current issue, picked an article, and was not able to access it.

I had subscribed for 2023 after subscriptions were split from ALT membership, because I wanted the hardcopy journal, at least for the time being.
