linguistics at Bielefeld University has recently been awarded a so-called
Sonderforschungsbereich, a collaborative research centre, which comprises
nearly 20 research projects on different aspects of creativity in linguistics.

30 Research Positions in CRC 1646 “Linguistic Creativity in Communication” in
different areas of expertise

The CRC 1646 “Linguistic Creativity in Communication” at Bielefeld University
is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and investigates linguistic
creativity in communication from a range of different perspectives. The 30
open PhD positions  are associated with the following areas of expertise and
responsibilities:

 * 21 positions in linguistics (65 %)
 * 1 position in literary studies (65 %)
 * 1 position in philosophy (65 %)
 * 2 positions in psychology (75 %)
 * 5 positions in computational linguistics/computer science (100 %)
