[Lingtyp] Eliciting 1st, 2nd, 3rd person arguments

Hi,

For a publication I need a reference that says something about eliciting clauses with 1st and 2nd person arguments (speech act participants) vs 3rd persons. In my experience, the latter is easier. Is there a publication to back up (or refute) this claim?
