[Lingtyp] Job: Comparative Indo-European Linguistics (Uppsala University), Tenure-track Associate Senior Lecturer

Dear colleagues,
The University of Uppsala (UU), Sweden, invites applications for a
tenure-track position as Associate Senior Lecturer in Comparative
Indo-European Linguistics at The Department of Linguistics and
Philology.

We are seeking a comparative linguist with knowledge of Indo-European
but not necessarily limited to Indo-European. The candidate should be
able to teach and do research in comparative-historical linguistics
(and chair this subject area within the department). It is an extra
plus if he/she can also do interdisciplinary work together with
archaeology and genetics. The position is tenure-track with good
prospects for tenure after a 4-year period, and after that, the possibility
of promotion to professor.

Expected start date: Jan 1st, 2025 (or by agreement)
