Many thanks to all of you who have bothered to help me solve my
terminological problem, some writing me beside the list. Some have
rightly confirmed that the collection of constructions which I had
mentioned hardly represents a homogeneous concept. We can, however,
leave the theoretical problem aside and limit ourselves to the practical
problem of finding a heading for a set of constructions essentially
constituted by the negative criterion of being neither a simple nor a
complex clause (pace, let it be repeated, one or another theory
insisting on tertium non datur).
For all those who have a use for a term covering such phenomena, it may
matter that an overwhelming majority have suggested the term
'sesquiclausal construction'. I will adopt it.
