Dear all,

we are happy to announce that the third international workshop on
Current Trends in Papuan Linguistics (CTPL III) will take place on the
picturesque *Isle of Arz*, part of an archipelago in the Gulf of
Morbihan (Brittany, France), on *15-17 October 2025*.

Abstracts on any topic in Papuan linguistics, including contact
phenomena with Austronesian languages, are invited for oral
presentations. Presentations will be 30 minutes, followed by 15 minutes
of discussion. Each individual may contribute only one submission, which
may be a single-author or a co-authored paper. Abstracts must be no more
than one A4 page in length, including examples, figures, maps, etc., but
excluding references. Submissions must be anonymous and in PDF format.

To submit an abstract, create an account under “Login” on the conference
website: https://ctpl3.sciencesconf.org. Once you have logged in, go to
“My Space”, then to “My Submissions”, and follow the instructions.

Abstract submission deadline: *April 30, 2025*
Notification of acceptance: *May 31, 2025*

We welcome abstract from researchers in all stages of their career, but
we particularly encourage submissions from early career researchers.
Places at the venue are limited and half of the available slots will be
reserved for PhD students and postdocs. There will be a conference fee
of 120 EUR, which also covers accommodation (4 nights, 14-18 October)
and all meals at the conference venue (https://domainedebilherve.fr).

We look forward to your participation!

Best regards,
Sonja Riesberg
also on behalf of the other members of the organizing committee: Sylvain
Loiseau, Yann Le Moullec, Antoinette Schapper and Moises Velasquez Perez
