[Lingtyp] Encyclopedias of linguistics

Dear Sebastian,
Usually I start with what  can easily be found in Google (e.g. Wikipedia,
Glottopedia) and than go on with the references found there that deal with
the problem(s) I'm busy with  in the particular moment (e.g. the Oxford
Linguistic series with titles such as *Competing Motivations* *in Grammar &
Usage,* or the Cambridge Handbooks such as *Historical Syntax)*
