Dear colleagues,
The 6th Symposium on Amazonian Languages (SAL 6) will take place (in
person) on March 27-28, 2026 at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, AB,
Canada.
If you are interested in presenting your work at this conference, please
send your abstracts to *sympamazlang AT gmail.com <http://gmail.com>*
by *February
10*. Abstracts should be 500 words (including examples but not including
references) and they can be on any topic related to Amazonian linguistics,
including, but not limited to: phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax,
semantics, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, historical linguistics, linguistic
anthropology, discourse analysis, and language maintenance and
revitalization.
Notifications of acceptance will be sent out by February 15. Registration
for the conference will be free.
