Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that from September 7 to 12, 2026 we will
organize the 7th Pavia Summer School for Indo-European Linguistics.
The courses we offer this year are:
Old Church Slavonic - Thomas Olander (Copenhagen)
Germanic - Ludwig Rübekeil (Zürich)
Sanskrit - Hans Heinrich Hock (Urbana-Champaign)
Albanian - Giulio Imberciadori (Munich)
The typology of Indo-European - Silvia Luraghi (Pavia)
The Summer School will also feature an invited lecture by Elisabeth Rieken
(Marburg) titled Hittite – a language of literature and culture.
Moreover, Theresa Roth (HU Berlin) will present the PIE Collective, a newly
founded scholarly network which promotes gender equality within the
discipline at all career stages.

Participation in the Summer School, including active participation in the
Poster Session, stands for 3 ECTS.
The registration fee will be €100. Registrations are now open and remain
open until the end of June.
