[We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually

Dear Linguists,
has anybody got Inge Genee's e-mail address / mailing address? I've
tried the public domain resources that the list editors so generously
pointed out to me, but without success. I need to get in touch with
Inge to discuss Irish verbal nouns.
Please reply to:
mj.ball at ulst.ac.uk
Thanks

Hi! I'm writing a dissertation on aspects of the written English of
EFL learners. The L1 background of my subjects is extremely
heterogeneous and there are a number of languages that I'm having
trouble obtaining much information about. What I need to know is, for
each of the following languages, whether they have anything
corresponding to the definite and indefinite article in English.
Dzongkha Peulh Runyankole
Punjabi Yoruba Marathi
Amharic Nepali Twi
Senufo Sinhalese Lozi
Chichewa Mandinka Tikopian
Setswana Urdu Kitharaka
Malay Bemba Kamba
Assamese Ibibio Luo
Can anyone give me any pointers? If so, please reply to:
