Acquisition of Spanish as a First or Second Language
October 12-14, 1995

Acquisition of Spanish syntactic parameters
Differences between L1 and L2 acquisition
Input and interaction and the acquisition of Spanish
Role of consciousness and the acquisition of Spanish
The effects of formal instruction on the acquisition of Spanish
Classroom research on reading, writing, listening, and speaking
Guidelines for submission of abstracts:
- Three (3) copies of anonymous abstract with title--not to exceed more than
one page in length (double-spaced, typed). Abstract may be in English or
Spanish.
- One (1) copy of short version of abstract with title, your name, and
academic affiliation--not to exceed a rectangle area of 9 X 11.6 cm(fits in
1/4th of a standard 8 1/2 X 11). This version will be included in conference
program if the paper is accepted.
- One (1) 3 x 5 card with the following information: title of abstract, your
name, academic affiliation, mailing address, phone number, fax number,
and e-mail address, and any additional information necessary to locate you
during the months of May and June.
