Subject: Lexical Innovations
Dear Netters,
I am looking now into lexical innovations of a Hebrew scholar.
In order to formulate a grammar of his innovation, I must first be able
to discriminate among the innovation that he uses in his publications,
between those coined by him and the rest.
I am looking for any theoretical or empirical, linguistic or statistical
attempts to resolve this issue of attributing authorship for "coinage"
of lexical innovations.
Any hints are most welcome, Thanks, MIchal.

Subject: Primitive Concepts
I am a Ph.D. student of computer science. My work concerns analysis
and clarification of some primitive concepts, such as "pain",
"pleasure", "beauty", "desire", "action tendency", "good",
"satisfaction", "reward", "time", "existence", etc.; and involves
formulation of accounts of some psychological phenomena as well. The
view underlying my approach is that concepts, in particular primitive
concepts, are constructed out of the regularities of observable
behavior. I regretly find that there are so few scholars concentrating
on this kind of subject; presumably, no such an area exists. I am posting
this message in order to find colleagues. If anyone can offer sources
or references in this field, I would appreciate hearing from you.
