Subject: Finno-Ugric Conference: Call for Papers
CALL FOR PAPERS
The Eleventh Conference of the Finno-Ugric Studies Association of
Canada will be held on May 28-29, 1995, at Brock University,
St. Catharines (Ontario). Papers are welcome in all areas of
Finno-Ugric research, such as linguistics, archeology, anthropology,
folklore, literature, history and music.
There will be a special session organized to accomodate papers on the
following theme:
"The teaching and learning of Finno-Ugric languages and cultures
beyond the first generation"
Abstracts should be sent to the Conference Organizing Committee at one
of the addresses given below by March 31, 1996.

anglais, portant sur n'importe quel des domaines de la linguistique
appliquee. Faites un resume de 150 mots (MAXIMUM). Sur une feuille
separee, indiquez votre nom, votre adresse de courrier electronique,
votre adresse, votre statut et le titre de votre communication. Les
membres de l'ACLA sont invites a proposer des symposiums. Veuillez
envoyer le titre du symposium que vous proposez, une liste des
participant-e-s ainsi qu'un bref resume du contenu du symposium. Les
membres de l'ACLA pourront se faire rembourser une partie de leurs
frais de voyage pour assister au colloque. L'Association encourage,
comme toujours, la soumission d'articles pour la Revue de l'ACLA.

The CAAL is calling for papers, in English or in French, dealing with
any of the subfields of applied linguistics. Please send a 150-word
(MAXIMUM) abstract along with a separate sheet indicating your name,
e-mail address, address, title, affiliation and the title of your
paper. CAAL members are invited to propose symposia. Please send a
title of your proposed symposium, a list of participants, as well as a
short summary of the contents of the symposium. Members of the
Association will be eligible for partial reimbursement of expenses for
traveling to the conference. As usual, the CAAL encourages submission
of articles for the Journal of the CAAL.
Deadline for abstracts is January 15th, 1996
