If you read LINGUIST on the Web at  Rochester
(http://www.ling.rochester.edu/linguist/contents.html)
please note that this site does not seem to be operational
at this moment.  No new LINGUIST postings have appeared
there since August 7, though we have been distributing
mailings regularly this month..
 
Since Rochester is not an official LINGUIST site, we at LINGUIST
have no control over it, and do not know why it has ceased
to operate.  We would ask LINGUIST readers to direct their
queries on the problem to the maintainers of the pages at
Rochester.
 
We suggest that if you wish to read LINGUIST on the Web you
use one of our two official sites, which are functioning as
normal.    These sites are:
