Subject:  LINGUIST on vacation
 
LINGUIST will be on vacation from Dec. 23, 1996 to Jan. 14, 1997.
We are closing down for a longer period than normal this year so
that our staff can attend a LINGUIST workshop on new software
and font-support for the list.   Any messages that we receive
before midnight on Dec. 23 will be posted before we shut
down for the holidays.  Any we receive after that date will be
posted when we reopen.
 
We wish you all a wonderful holiday season and a successful New Year!
