Can anyone tell me if the Proceedings of the XVth International
Congress of Linguistics, Quebec, 1992 are yet available, and if so,
where from?  All I have is a reference to the proceedings as
`forthcoming'.  Please reply to mylne at lingua.cltr.uq.oz.au.

Dear fellow linguists,
 
I am doing research on gender differences in conflict talk, with focus
on the verbal disputes of London teenage girls. I would like to
receive information about ongoing research on this subject. I am also
interested in current literature on gender and conflict talk
(published after 1990).

Would anyone have information on the following?
 
In the late 80s I was invited by the Editor of a Linguistics
Encyclopedia to do a paper on "Copula". I did, with a paper "Copulas
and congeners". In July 1991 I was sent proofs by Allied Publishers in
New Delhi, who were producing the book. I did the proofs, returned
them, and never heard anything from either Editor or Publisher,
although I have written to them several times over the last few years.
	Did this Encyclopedia ever appear? I would be grateful for any
information, at my email address. anyone may have.
