We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

I'm down to the final stretch, the deadline for my thesis is the
27th of Sept, and I can't find a publisher for the following reference!
I used the book while in England and it is not in our libraries. Can
you complete this for me?

Walker, R.C.J. (1989) The Coherence Theory of Truth: Realism,
Anti-Realism and Idealism.

I am interested in learning more about the "Ulpan" - Hebrew language
teaching programs - in Israel. Especially in regard to
history and development of the program; theoretical approach(es), and
curriculum. Does anyone (especially any linguists or educators working in
Israel) have any information or know of resources that may be useful to
me? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Suzanne Hovanesian

Dear colleagues,
I submit a query a friend of mine asked me to post, she works in the
firld of russian-slavian linguistics, and would like to subscribe to
an email list dedicated to the topic. If someone knows about such a
list, please be gentle and let me know.
Thank you all,

I'd like to know there there is any online discussion list dedicated
specifically to historical linguistics and/or to Indo-European studies.
Thank you very much for your kind help.
