Please do not use abbreviations or acronyms for your conference unless
you explain them in your text. Many people outside your area of
specialization will not recognize them. Also, if you are posting a
second call for the same event, please keep the message short. Thank
you for your cooperation.

VENUE
Jemby-Rinjah Lodge Conference Centre is set in natural bushland
adjacent to the Blue Mountains National Park, 2-3 hours drive West of
Sydney. We are taking over the entire facility for our exclusive use
throughout the 2 days of tutorials.
The bushland surrounding the beautiful wooden lodge buildings provides
a 'total environment experience'. The buildings contain all modern
conveniences. Accommodation is in Eco-Lodges which are accessed by
wooden walkways placed above the ground to prote ct the flora and
fauna. There are modern conference facilities, a communal lounge area
with a sunken log fire, the Isopogons Restaurant with a resident chef
who prepares gourmet meals, outdoor barbeque facilities, and outdoor
deck areas for relaxation. Jemby-Rinjah's 'tread softly, live
lightly' and 'minimal site disturbance' philosophies encompass energy
saving, recycling and conservation.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
Jemby-Rinjah is ideally situated for sampling the delights of
bushwalking in the National Park whether it is your first experience,
or whether you are an old hand. We have deliberately left the
afternoons free so that we can enjoy the locality during daylight
hours. We will guide a few walks for those interested, or you can
take a map from reception and do your own thing, or you can simply
relax and enjoy the site from one of the decks. Our walks are
suitable for anyone of average fitness who can walk at a fairly brisk
pace for 2-3 hours. They include some steep slopes and steps. Because
the terrain is rocky, we recommend that you bring walking boots that
give good ankle support.
