The Holland Institute of Generative Linguistics (HIL) was established
in order to promote research and to professionalize the training of
graduate students in the field of generative linguistics. HIL was
established as a result of increasing collaboration among theoretical
linguists at Leiden University, the University of Amsterdam and the
Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. The focus of inquiry in HIL is on
theoretical research in the fields of syntax, semantics, phonology and
morphology.
The HIL Dissertations series currently contains twenty-seven
titles. These dissertations are published by Holland Academic
Graphics, The Hague (http://www.hag.nl). HAG has made available
PDF-versions of several HIL dissertations. These can be viewed from

given at the bottom of the announcement, not to me.
