Several student grants will be available for ESSLLI'97. They will
cover the registration fees. A selection will be done according to the
following criteria :

	- the student's motivation,
	- the economic situation of the country and the institution.

Some extra criteria will be taken into account according to the number
of requests, and in particular :

	- an accepted paper to the ESSLLI'97 student session,
	- a presentation during one of the ESSLLI'97 workshops.

Moreover, the recommendation of the student by senior researchers will
be a plus.

The application must be sent before May 30th either by e-mail, fax or
surface mail to:
