We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

Hi!
One of my classmates is in her Master Thesis writing about aspect
within NLP. I have promised her to ask if any of you have any
knowledge of somebody who also have studied this subject and tried to
implement it in a parser.
Please mail directly to my mailing adress:

Thank you,
Annette Christensen, Denmark

Dear Linguist,
Now I am reading Hjelmslev. It turns
out that Hjelmslev is a huge mountain of difficulty for me. It is
well-known that his long chain of terms is difficult to follow. Taking
some pains, this can be managed. My problem mostly lies in the lack of
source materials. That's why I bother you again and again. Now I have
the following questions and problems.
1. Is Resume an English version of his Essais Linguistiques
(The former is not accessible here. The later and its German
version I have got)?
2. Can you help me get the abstracts on Hjelmslev in LLBA between
67-80?
3. How can I get references on Hjelmslev between 62-67?
4. Do you know any access tonow active linguists or faculties of/on
Copenhagen School?
Whatever help will be cordially welcome.
yours
Wang Zhenyu

If you are a native speaker of English and accept
the following sentence, please help me with judgement on a few more
examples.
I wonder whom you believe bought the book.
[The wh-word being 'whom', not 'who', is important.]
Contact me at: htanaka at osk.3web.ne.jp
Any reference to such case alternation accompanying wh-movement
is also welcome.
