Subject: Disyllabic Harmony
Dear linguists,
I am presently working on disyllabic harmony systems (vowel harmonies
restricted to a two-syllable window). Could anyone provide me with
any information on languages which show this type of harmony (even
what languages have this process)?
Many thanks in advance,
Yuko Mochizuki

Subject: Mongolian texts
Dear Netters,
I am looking for any sources for Mongolian texts in either
classical script or Cyrillic. Additionally, a new font set for
Mongolian (both alphabets) is now available from Linguist's Software.
I am not affiliated with them and this is not an endorsement for
their products. Just useful information. They are most easily
contacted through:

Subject: Emotions in speech
I am working on the detection of emotions in speech. So far
I am only consdidering acoustic (prosodic) information but
I would like to incorporate verbal information, such as
choice of words or certain syntactic constructions. I was
wondering whether there are studies about emotion specific
verbal phenomena?
Thanks so much
Thomas Polzin
