Subject: Japanese Computational Lexicographer
Intelligent Life, Inc. is looking for a Japanese Computational Lexicographer
We are a recruiting agency in Seattle hunting for a Japanese computational lexicographer. The position is a one-year project for a large software company, and the contract will be through us. The pay rate is $40 - 45 per hour and benefits are provided through the agency. Our client will pay limited relocation costs.
Job description: Maintaining lexical data in comprehensive dictionaries, enhancing and maintaining the Japanese morphological rules, maintaining testing corpora, in accordance with the overall system architecture used by the NLP group.
Qualifications:
Required
Native-level proficiency in Japanese
Experience in computational linguistics and online Japanese dictionary development
Some programming experience in Perl, C, C++
An interest in Japanese morphological/lexical issues
Nice To Have
Database programming experience
