To whom it may concern,
I have on disk a 4000-word Uzbek dictionary (Uzbek-English). With
your help, I'd be delighted to place it at the service of others. Let
me know. Yours, Daniel

Subject: Suggestion for new Indo-Iranian linguistics mailing list
If anyone would be interested in subscribing to, and participating in,
a new list, devoted to Indo-Iranian linguistics i.e. Vedic and Avestan
phonology, morphology, syntax and text linguistics, etc. I would be
willing to set it up and look after it.
I personally, as an (apprentice) Indo-Iranist and Vedicist have always
felt that such a list is missing. If anyone else feels the same, I
would be happy to fill the gap.

Information on languages of Mexico
The Mexico branch of SIL is pleased to announce the inauguration of
its web site, which is found at http://www.sil.org/americas/mexico.
This site includes information on the twenty different language
families of Mexico. The initial phase of the web site includes two
complete dictionaries, and access to bibliographical information about
publications by SIL members on these languages. In some cases, the
papers themselves or field notes are included on the site. We hope
that in a short time much more information of this type will be added.
