We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

I'm terribly sorry, I incorrectly stated my question. The question should
have been -- Does anyone know when syllable-final /l/ _WAS_ velarized in
the _HISTORY_ of English? I wrote the question in a hurry, and I apologize
to those who were kind enough to respond anyway.
I still hope to receive responses to my intended query. Thanks very much.

I've got a series of notes I made on 'Baum (1988)' on personal pronouns. I
foolishly forgot to note any more bibliographical details.
Can anyone on the list help me?
