Subject:  One/two/three Lecturers

The University of Wisconsin - Madison will be hiring one or more
lecturer(s) to teach a total of three courses during the academic year
1999 - 2000. This/these would be fixed-term terminal appointment(s) for
the first and/or second semester of the AY depending on the number of
courses taught, at 33.33% time each.
	Minimum of ABD
The lecturer or lecturers would be teaching one or more of the following
one-semester courses:
	Intro to Descriptive/Theoretical Linguistics
	Intro to Historical/Comparative Linguistics
	General (articulatory) Phonetics
	Phonology
	Syntax (both semesters)
	Historical Method
	Comparative Method
	Syntactic Theories
	Intro to Experimental Phonetics

A deadline for applications was inadvertantly omitted from the
announcement of lectureship opening/openings at the University of
Wisconsin - Madison.
       Applications should be received by 1 March 1999.
