Subject:  Syntax/Semantics/Comp Ling: Temporary/ Univ of Minnesota, USA

The Linguistics program at the University of Minnesota is seeking to make
part-time, and possibly full-time, temporary appointments for Spring
Semester 2000 to teach the following courses: Introduction to Syntax,
Seminar in Syntax, Topics in Syntax and Semantics, and Computational
Linguistics. Classification: Teaching Specialist if ABD; Lecturer with PhD;
Individuals on leave from their home institution for the current academic
year are encouraged to apply as Visiting Professor. Salary dependent on
education and experience.

Qualifications: ABD or PhD in Linguistics or Computer Science (for
Compuational Linguistics). At least one year of teaching experience at the
college or university level.

Individuals interested in being considered to teach one or more of the
above-mentioned courses should submit a letter of application, three
letters of recommendation and a curriculum vitae to:
