Job announcement: Position in theoretical linguistics in Nancy, France
The Department of Linguistics at the University of Nancy, France,
seeks to fill a position at the professor level starting September 1,
2000. 'Habilitation' or equivalent foreign qualifications as well as
a very good command of French are required.
The primary specialization should be in one of the following fields:
the lexicon, morphology, syntax ('lexiques, morphologie, syntaxe'). A
secondary specialization in typology, semantics, or psycholinguistics
a plus.

EFL Teachers Wanted (2nd Posting)
Kyung Hee University at Seoul, Korea, is seeking several qualified EFL
teachers. For the information about the university, refer to

Qualifications: MA in Linguistics, Creative Writing, TESOL or closely
related field; experience in teaching English as a Second Language
and/or experience with TESOL education preferable. BA in one of these
fields with an MA or MS degree also qualified. Interested applicants are

The successful candidates will be appointed for the term of one year
beginning March 1, 2000, renewable on good standing for the term of two
years. Primary responsibilities include teaching 15 hours of English
conversation and composition classes per week and coordinating EFL
activities in the institute. Monthly salary will be approximately
2,000,000 won. Other benefits include 8 week vacations, health
insurance, and a studio apartment with minimum rental fees.
