The University of Massachusetts/Amherst Linguistics Department expects
to offer a fractional one-year sabbatical replacement position in
psycholinguistics, starting date September 1, 2001.

Teaching load of one co-taught introductory graduate psycholinguistics
course and one or two other courses in sentence processing at the
graduate and undergraduate level. Advising of graduate students in
parsing and participation in the interdisciplinary community of
scholars interested in cognitive science, language disorders, and
language acquisition would also be expected. Salary $35,225.  Rank
open.

Candidates should send CV, three letters of reference, and sample
publications by January 1, 2001 for fullest consideration. Teaching
evaluations should also be included, if available.  Applications will
be accepted after that date until the position is filled.  Candidates
should let us know if they will be available for interviews at the
LSA.
